Answer: We use the Cumulative List of Organizations from the IRS. These organizations are qualified to receive charitable contributions.
How will my non-profit receive the 50% from my membership fee?
Answer: 50% of membership fees are paid out to non-profits in monthly installments over the 12 months of each membership. Your non-profit will receive a monthly contribution from buythechange made up of fees from all members who have supported it
How do you prevent illegitimate non-profit registrations?
Answer: We verify all organizations through the IRS.
